MultiTouch Macs soon?

A few years ago I was debating the virtue of software video/audio mixing desks as opposed to hardware desks and the end result was that the fact we have eight fingers and two thumbs allocated across two hands on the ends of two arms meant there were a lot of options for hardware control that a mouse could simply not compare to.
The iPhone, on the other hand, uses what’s come into common parlance as “multi-touch” technology to achieve the fluid UI and tactile experience.
Rumours that Apple might use multi-touch on the Mac are very compelling especially when you consider that they have software that does audio and video mixing.
Apple’s hardware is due for a refresh on the Mac side….
