Your Mac comes with a 1 year limited hardware warranty. This can be extended with AppleCare to 3 years. Desktop computers with AppleCare may also be entitled to On-Site Service. You can also get AppleCare for your Apple Display. Your iPod comes with a 1 year limited hardware warranty. This can be extended with AppleCare to 2 years.

Warranty work may require a PROOF OF PURCHASE provided by the customer. If the equipment is under warranty and the problem is due to a hardware fault, there will be no cost for repair. If the problem is due to software or there is evidence of accidental damage or neglect, there will be a diagnosis fee and an hourly charge applied.
